Abbey is reserved but friendly. She is calm, quiet and sweet. Abbey is VERY happy to see someone with a leash and she greets handlers enthusiastically. When walking, she loves to stop and roll in the grass. On the lead she does pull some but is generally easy to walk. Since she Shows some fear based reaction to other dogs it is recommended that she be placed in a home with no other dogs. An active family and a fenced yard for her to get plenty of exercise is recommended to help keep her from getting too protective of her people. Abbey weighs about 59 lbs. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. She is 8 years old so her adoption fee has been prepaid by Save-A-Senior, a program of the Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter.
