Apache is a handsome boy that was brought in as a stray to a rural Tennessee shelter and no one ever came looking for him. This boy looks like a very handsome German Shorthair Pointer and this breed is a sporting breed that needs plenty of exercise and both physical and mental stimulation and outlets. This boy is just under a year from what we can tell and he is only 40 pounds. Probably due to put on an extra 20 pounds as he becomes an adult male that will always garner remarks of admiration and intrigue on his breed. A family familiar with sporting breeds would be recommended (and a fenced yard Is a requirement with us for this boy) and he should not be a dog that you crate for 8-9 hours daily Monday – Friday. He is definitely not a dog that can be crated or left alone/ignored for the majority of the day. With his youth, he still has at least a decade or more of adventure ahead of him, all he needs is a family that will take him along.
