Avocado was found after being dumped out a car… she was skin and bones and in very poor health. After several months, she's a normal weight, is up to date on vaccinations, and is spayed and chipped. As best as we can tell, she's lived her entire sad life outside on concrete and was forced to have many litters. She did not know kindness until recently, and now she spins and bounces excitedly when it's time for food and/or treats! She is quiet in her crate, is working on house training (this is all new to her!), she is doing well with leash walking, and she is all around an affectionate, snuggly, lover girl! We will be looking for the most wonderful forever home for her with humans who want to show her the good life now. She's about 3 – 5 years old. She knows "sit" and "place" and "crate up." We think she will do fine with a family that has dogs and/or cats but because of her size would like older kids for her.
