Her name is Cairo (Ky-row) and she is about 3 1/2 years old. She was my family dog. We got her when I was a senior in high school. I moved out and my parents split up, along with a house eviction. She was abandoned by them and left to my responsibility. I live in a small apartment with 2 other people and 3 cats and she never harms the cats, but it is simply too crowded. I won’t send her to a shelter, but I can’t continue holding on to her. I love this dog very much, so she will need to go to somebody who will give her the love and affection she deserves.
She was recently fixed and got her shots by the Carson Animal Shelter while she was on a holding period. She also stayed with a friend for a month who has a terrier dog. Cairo and that dog got along just fine. She has a scary sounding bark, and will bark at strangers upon meeting them. Don’t let that fool you. She has absolutely never bitten anybody. Take the time to get to know her and she will be the best friend you could ask for.
