PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.
7/22/19 UPDATE: Camille and Temperence are now in a foster home in MA. They are doing exceptionally well with their foster family. Their foster mom has said that now that they have settled in, they no longer appear to be bonded to one another. They have gained a lot of independence and while they are still friendly to one another, they are content to do their own thing and really don’t ‘hang out’ together much. So we are now open to adopting these girls individually, so each of them will have a better chance of getting a great home. Please email email@example.com for more info and adoption application.
4/29/19 update: Temperence and Camille were adopted but are being returned to rescue only 2 days after arriving at their new home. Their adopter is overwhelmed by them and it’s just not working out, through no fault of their own. We are in need of a foster or adopter for them, to avoid them having to endure the long trip back to Arkansas. If you can foster or adopt these big beauties please email firstname.lastname@example.org. They are currently located in CT.
3/29/19 Temperance and Camille are a bonded pair. They are both gorgeous, big girls who were found as stray. (we think they may be sisters). We believe Temperance and Camille are Great Pyrenees mix. Temperence has a beautiful coat and partially blue eyes. She appears to be a young adult, around 2 years old. Camille is equally beautiful, but with a little less fluff in her coat and brown eyes. Both girls tested negative for heartworms and have been brought up to date on shots and they have been spayed. They each weigh 60- 65lbs. Temperance and Camille get along well with other dogs and they love people, big and small! They will make loyal, loving companions for any family. For more info, email email@example.com
Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $300-$350, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $250. This includes spay/neuter if old enough, (If not old enough for spay/neuter, the puppy will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract, which will require the adopter to have him/her spayed/neutered no later than 6 months of age), up to date age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $140 per dog. We use Uber Dog Animal Rescue Transport, and you can see more about them at www.uberdogart.com.
