Dory is a happy, smiling faced little girl that we think is a Cattle Dog/Bulldog mix that weighs 40 pounds and is only 18 months old. She was sadly found abandoned with a bag of dog food on a rural country road in a small town in Tennessee. She comes up to your knees and is just the right size – not too big, not too little and ready to have some fun playing with you. She was taken in and spayed, and grew up a little, but we found she was just pushy and too much energy for the older siblings at the foster home. Sometimes the young whipper snapper dogs can do that and it creates a bit of a problem in the pack of dogs at the house. She does well with inside cats and with horses, but wants to be top dog with the dogs. Maybe she just needs to be an only-dog. Like all dogs, she thrives on consistency. If you let her sleep with you once, she’ll expect it every time. She responds well to training, although sometimes she’d like to be the one training you. She loves to be loved on and told how pretty and sweet she is. She is ready to find that perfect family or person to share her life with.
Could that be you!???
