Hercules was rescued by a local rescue in June 2016 from a hoarding situation in Gilmer,TX where his owner had passed away. He was found guarding his deceased owners body from the other animals in the home. He lived in a kennel at the rescue and was doing poorly from the stress of kennel life and begun losing his hair until he was taken in by a foster in March 2018 who was hoping to help find him a home. His foster is now going through a divorce and is unable to keep him, the rescue will not take him back and wants the foster to re-home him. Hercules is nine years old, neutered, up to date on shots, and heartworm negative. He has SO MUCH LOVE TO GIVE. He is an inspiration to his foster every single day. Hercules is sometimes dog selective, liking female dogs much better than male dogs, however his foster feels like if he were at a larger home, and not her small home, this might not be an issue.
