Hi there, my name is Kala! I am the definition of cuddles and love. Isn`t that what you need in your life right now?! I came into the shelter with my friend Zoey, who is also looking for a home of her own! My previous owner was no longer allowed to have us. Although we would previously lived together and got along great, we are not required to be adopted together! My past home said I was still active, even at 12 years old. I do appreciate late night cuddles and mid day naps though. They also said I was playful, affectionate, and friendly with children in the home. I`ve never been around kitties so there`s no telling if we could be friends or not! My previous home also said that I was house trained/crate trained and didn`t display any destructive behaviors in the home. I love car rides and walk wonderful on a leash! Good news about me is that I get along well with the other dogs I have met in my stay here, including a blind and deaf dog! I was so gentle with that one because I am the sweetest girl. I am excited to meet you and become the next member of your family! I would make the perfect addition for someone looking to add a lowkey friend to their household.
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. All dogs are sterilized and come with age appropriate core vaccines, heart worm test, heart worm and flea/tick prevention, deworming, microchip, and a health certificate from our veterinarian. WCHS is a nonprofit organization. All fees paid to adopt any pet helps provide medical services and care provided to all of our animals. Please be aware your pet has gone through a lot of changes recently and we expect the adopters to allow pets adequate time to transition from shelter life to home life. Our location is 801 Van Camp Rd. Bowling Green, Ohio 43402 and we can be reached at 419-352-7339. Hours of operation are as follows: Tuesday & Wednesday 12-7pm, and Thursday-Sunday 12-5pm. If you are interested in adopting any of our pets, you can fill out a survey and questionnaire online at www.woodcountyhumanesociety.org or stop by the shelter during our open hours. Do know that adoptions happen same day!
