Oso was a chained backyard dog when his ‘owners’ told Angie they were going to get rid of him. They were planning to ‘take him to a ranch’, but didn’t seem to know any ranchers, leaving Oso’s actual future looking sketchy. Luckily, a foster stepped forward for Oso and has helped him learn to be an amazing house companion! Oso is uber sweet and affectionate, loving to hug and kiss you and lay on your legs. Weighing in at 80 lbs, he’s a big lap dog . Oso is a silly boy who loves to play chase. He also loves to play ball and will entertain himself with chew toys. He’s very good with other dogs in his foster home, but has a tough time with introductions to new dogs and is learning social manners – he’s a bit exuberant and other dogs find that a little irritating. However, in the house Oso’s sweet, gentle, and calm and will mostly likely be found laying at your feet. Oso is generally a lover, but but this boy is not a lover of cats (unless he’s chasing them!). Also, he’s very smart and will sometimes look for additional entertainment in the form of finding new ways to escape the yard and go visit the neighbor’s dog. Oso’s new family will need to be ready to manage this potential issue. Oso is a great dog and his witty and fun personality will help keep you sharp, too!
