We adopted Pearl from the Animal Protection Society of Durham, NC about 3 years ago when she was 6 months old. Since adopting her, we’ve enrolled her in both group and one-on-one training courses. Pearl is now 3.5 years old, is very smart, and follows basic commands such as sit, stay, and leave it, and is housebroken. Pearl loves to go hiking, swimming, and playing with her toys. Unfortunately, we’ve recently discovered that Pearl is not good with children and we are looking to re-home her with someone or a family without children. Considering her breed, Pearl needs a lot of activity that stimulates her brain, so ideally we’d love to find her a home with a large fenced-in yard where she can run around and play. If we can find her a farm where she can tap into her herding behavior, would be even more ideal. She is very sweet, loyal, and loves to cuddle.
