You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Please consider that many of these dogs have been abandoned, ignored by their previous owners, or turned in to a shelter, having little interaction with someone who cares about them.
When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.
Hi, my name is Que, and I'm a really handsome 1.5 yr old sable GSD who was surrendered to a shelter because the other dogs in the house and I didn't get along. At the time I was surrendered, I was unaltered, so this may have added to the problem. According to shelter reports, my former owner provided a small amount of exercise twice per week, and I have to say that I'm having a blast exercising with the volunteers of FRGSR and playing ball. Regarding commands, I know "sit", "shake" and my recall is really good. I have been paired with selective FRGSR dogs and the volunteers have observed that I can be very pushy and dominant, so they are working with me on this. I'm house trained and I have good leash manners. I will need a GSD experienced handler who's had experience dealing with addressing dominance. More info to come. My adoption fee is $350.
Although we do our best to keep our adoptable animals page as current as possible, not all the animals you see may be available.
We get dogs often, so get your application in, and we will do our best to match the best dog to you and your circumstances.
