Queen was rescued from the Rowan County Animal Shelter three weeks ago. She was found as a stray, so I am not sure of her background, but she has obviously had some training. She is crate trained and will obey commands in the most adorable way. She listens well, has no food or grooming issues, and will take treats from your hand so gently. She loves everybody she meets! She gets along well with my young female dog, but she doesn’t like my pushier young male dog. I have taken her to the park for walks and she has good energy, but she stays calm in many situations. At one point about 25 men came riding by on bicycles, and she stood calmly and wagged her tail as they went by. She does react defensively when other dogs are threatening her ( like my boy ), but if you simply tell her no, and direct her the other way, she will listen to you. She has a wonderful personality, is a beautiful dog, and I think she would flourish as an only pet.
