Radar is a stunning 6 year old boy who weighs around 70lbs. He was originally adopted by his family as a puppy. He's a very affectionate guy, and is happiest when he's spending time just being with and around his people. He loves to play ball, go running, take baths and lay outside and bask in the sun.
He is lacking confidence, and has some trust issues with strangers. But with the right leadership and guidance he can be introduced to new people fairly easy. Once he bonds with you he is very loving and loyal. He is very handler submissive and very compliant. He has been fully trained in off leash obedience.
Radar will flourish in a home where his new owners understand the importance of good leadership, structure, rules and boundaries. They will need to continue the work we started with him and give him the security he needs to thrive.
Radar is house broken, crate trained, up to date on shots and neutered. He can be slowly integrated with submissive and neutral dogs. Radar would do best in an more low key, quiet, adult only home or a home with older children.
Radar is fully trained in off leash obedience and we will transfer all handling lessons to his new family and offer them lifetime support."
Radar is not currently at the shelter and is in foster with Allied Dog Training. Please contact us at (914) 273-1674 or email@example.com for more information!
