Teddy is a two year old retriever mix that tends to be a little reserved, but also has a super cute goofy/playful side. Teddy is crate trained and has recently been working on his leash manners and house training (bell). Teddy would make a great companion for a lot of families, but he gets visibly nervous around small children. Teddy would do best in a feline-free home with older/considerate children or no children.
Teddy is heartworm positive and will be undergoing treatment through approximately September 2018, with a retest required in March 2019. While Teddy is being treated for heartworm disease, he will live a very normal life, although it's imperative that his activity level is minimized. If you are committed to Teddy's treatment plan and are interested in fostering to adopt, please submit an application at http://www.oneloveanimalrescue.org/adopt.html.
