Facts About Me
Thank you dog control.
Yazzie was born about May 16, 2014 and weighs about 7 pounds. She is one of four dogs and a cat surrendered to us after random breeding and keeping too many of the pups and then a complaint came and dog control had issued a court appearance ticket. This is when we were called to reduce the numbers and four lucky dogs came here. They may need some warmup time with new humans, they were pretty scared upon arrival and it seems may not have gotten to know many humans over their lifetime. They have been very good with each other and the other dogs. The ‘Art’ Collection is good with cats, but it seems may not be exposed to children as yet. We are told they are used to having potty floor pads handy and it seems…may not have been outside much. They are cute little things and a great size. As for breed we have made a couple casual guesses of some breeds they may have in them, but truly they seem to be REALLY mixed. We are happy we could stop the random breeding…at least for these four. FOSTER UPDATE: What a happy, busy girl!! If you love constant kisses, and snuggling – this girl is for you! Yazzie walks passed our cats with barely a sniff and has not shown any other interest in them. She follows me closely when I venture from room to room and enjoys the other dogs. She definitely understands treats – but keeps her figure trim (I need to take lessons from her!). She uses the potty pads faithfully but has also ventured out the dog door where she explores cautiously through the grass. This is one smart girl who will be the best friend ever to some lucky person!
The Adoption Fee for this dog is $350.00.
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control – a ‘complete’ pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive – you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
